I have two kittens
so sweet and playful
In need of a adoptive Home
or Foster home

There is a black male with a heart shapped tuft of white fur under his chest,
And a seal point? siamese female with blue eyes

They are still skittish of people
but warming up everyday
they were born outside,
and trapped after a few weeks

They are about 5 months old now, and small

THEY CAN NOT GO OUTSIDE, because they will run away

They need shots/fixing (spay/neuter which can be at a discount)

I can not keep them anymore (they are not my kittens, they were abandoned)
and I can not find a rescue for them, =(

my husband is saying he's going to release them into the wild
(I do not want this to happen)

If someone can please help let me know

meetings greetings and beatings
okay, so we are having FNB meeting tomorrow at la
reunion at 7 sharp. basically to discuss general FNB
related subjects:

1. getting food from the farmers market. the
spaghetti i made on sunday was from the tomatoes we got
from there on saturday.

2. dumpster diving food. which ive become obsessed
with (possibly unhealthy obsession but whatever. thats
what manic depressive people do. develop unhealthy
obsessions.) The salad on sunday came from the V
richards dumspter which is basically a cornucopia of
free food. bread, greens veggies ect.
also, today while driving around i found about 8
bottlesof unopened stuffed olives. i personally hate
olives but anyone is welcome to a bottle and of course
i'l put them out at the FNB table. you can also food
prococess them and supposedly make a killer pasta
sauce. also, found a can of jalapenos that we put in
a jar since everyone seems to love them.

3. putting out more flyers to get more people
involved. make it more like a "picnic/party" than a
'hey we showed up with food eat it'. and, im just as
guilty of this as anyone.

4. talk to more people about. even people you dont
think would be interested because you would be
surprised. the world is full of good people. they are
just unfortunately mislead and controlled by their
tvs, computers newspapers and whatever else they have
to sedate them.

5. i really only have about an hour of time for this
meeting because of prior commitments but i will be
there and i hope to see you too.

6. buy a cup of joe and tip your barista.

hey everybody -

we're really shorthanded today and have been for the past month or two. if anybody has spare time, it would be really great if you could come down to the fountain and help us set up/serve at 2:30 today. if anyone has a truck and can help transport the table, leave a comment here. otherwise it is going in or on top of the saturn (which may or may not be an adventure all in itself).

anyway, hope to see you down there today, or next week, or the week after that. you get the idea.

p.s. we are planning on being down there next week (christmas). if you can't make it but would like to cook a dessert or something more "christmasy" than beans and rice and greens, let me know. you can drop it off at my place any time.

i know this may be a little lengthy, but please take the time to read or skim over the following. i'm helping organize and support a peace rally in birmingham. it deals with the topics on the rally and the views behind it.
we (hot collar) will be playing at this rally as well as a few more bands TBA.
please come and support this. your voice does matter.

Alabama Says: Stop the War on Iraq!
Statewide Peace Rally and March
Saturday, Sept 24th
2:00 - 5:00 PM
Kelly Ingram Park (1700 6th Ave. N.)
Birmingham, AL

Our message is:
Stop the killing!
Support the troops, bring them home now!
Spend money for human needs, not war!

Live music, inspiring speeches, shared stories, giant peace puppets, memorial exhibits, and more. Please watch this Web site for updates as more activities and details are set! www.alabamapeaceandjustice.org

On Saturday, Sept. 24, please join Alabama workers, students, families, soldiers, veterans, politicians, religious groups, and others in a rally and march against this illegal and immoral war on Iraq. Send a message across our state and to the Administration that we want out of Iraq now!

This is a critical time for us and our nation. Your voice and your presence truly count! Over 40 different peace, veteran, religious, political and other organizations have joined us in sponsoring/endorsing this statewide event. We hope you decide to stand with us too on September 24th.

this rally will not be the only one. there are many states through out the nation organizing the same events on this day. please show your support.

note: if you want to help out with this or support the rally in ANY way possible, please give me your contact information by leaving a comment or call me at (205)413 7554

Our First Meeting will be on Tuesday, July 12th at 7pm at Highland Coffee Company in the conference room.

Things to think about:
--how to secure weekly donations of food (area business, markets, restaurants)
--location (brother bryan park?)
--date/time of first table action - weekend or weekday?
